Rāwaru Flash is named for two things that define Rakiura — the blue cod (rāwaru) that holds in the cold, clear water beneath Halfmoon Bay, and the three flashes of the East Cardinal Mark. The navigation signal that tells you where the danger is. Where safe passage lies. Always East.

Look closer at the fins. Three flashes. Blue. Green. Red. The East Cardinal signal, hidden in plain sight. Most people will see a fish. The tribe will see the mark.

A note on the garment

Our look is rugged. We don't chase perfect — because life isn't perfect. This hoodie is made to be worn hard, washed often, and lived in fully. It will soften with every wash and carry the shape of the life you live in it. That's not wear and tear — that's character.

This is an intentionally oversized fit. If you prefer a closer fit, size down.

The fleece may shed lightly in the first few washes. This is normal and will settle. Some pilling may occur over time — that's the nature of real fleece, not a flaw.

Colours may vary slightly from screen to garment. Real fabric. Real light. Real life.

The design is printed directly onto the fabric using DTF transfer. The colours carry a soft, matte finish rather than a sharp digital look. The print area may feel slightly firmer on first wear and will soften beautifully with washing.

Care
Treat it well and it will last. Cool wash. Dry in the shade. No dryer — the island air does it better anyway.
